Our client, a global unicorn in the technology and higher education sector, is looking for an Associate Director of Business Development to establish and expand their presence in the Malaysia market. This role requires building and growing corporate accounts throughout Malaysia from the ground up. The ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of the leadership and talent development landscape in the region and have a robust network among HR and L&D professionals, including connections with both local and international corporations.

Requirements:

  • Over 7 years of experience in corporate (B2B) sales, preferably with a background in Executive Education or HR/L&D Consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in and position conversations about talent and leadership development with CHROs, L&D and HR professionals, as well as Business and C-suite executives.
  • Established relationships with leading local, multinational, and public/government sector organizations.
  • Proficiency in developing and presenting persuasive proposals to corporate clients.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Strong grasp of regional marketing and positioning strategies to develop and maintain a solid growth pipeline.
  • Experience in selling online executive education or blended learning solutions to corporate clients is highly advantageous.
