This full-time role is critical in developing and managing strong relationships with investors while ensuring transparency, growth, and engagement. The successful candidate will handle a wide range of investor relations activities, including communications, onboarding, reporting, and supporting fundraising initiatives. As an Investor Relations Manager, you will be supporting the key functions as detailed below:
Investor Relationship and Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Proactively engage investors through regular updates on fund performance, investment opportunities, and market trends.
- Act as the main point of contact for investor inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses.
- Organize and coordinate investor meetings, events, and conference calls to address queries and enhance investor trust.
- Resolve investor-related issues, inquiries, and escalations from various stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Support the preparation of investor materials such as pitch decks, presentations, and reports tailored to different investor needs.
- Assist in organizing and participating in fundraising activities such as roadshows, investor conferences, and campaigns.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new investors, ensuring that all required documentation is completed and processed.
- Negotiate investor terms and ensure alignment between investor needs and the firm’s objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive fundraising strategies and investor growth.
- Provide detailed, accurate, and timely reports to investors on fund performance, market developments, and key financial metrics.
- Oversee the creation of quarterly updates, newsletters, and performance summaries, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Analyse fund performance and work closely with the investment team to provide investors with key insights and financial updates.
- Track investor activity and feedback to improve communication strategies and align investment offerings with investor expectations.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes within the private equity sector.
- Identify new opportunities for growth, including exclusive partnerships and investor campaigns, and recommend strategies to drive revenue.
- Educate investors on emerging market trends, strategic investment opportunities, and best practices for portfolio diversification.
- Work closely with the investment team to align market insights with investment strategies and performance objectives.

- Possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in investor relations, wealth management, or a similar role, with exposure to private equity or asset management.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience in financial analysis, Excel, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple investor accounts.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in other languages (e.g., Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) being an advantage.
