Job Description

  • Manage Credit Card Finance Operation Function, to ensure that Settlement to Merchant and Card Scheme by timely basis;
  • Manage Loan Financing Function, ensure that proper reconciliation being carry out by timely basis;
  • Lead the accounting department and ensure that all the expenses recognize (ie accruals, prepayment and fixed assets) on time.
  • To review month end account closing and perform analysis on fluctuation.
  • To ensure that periodical closings, reports, ledgers reconciliation are prepared accurately and reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Support respective Stakeholder on Credit Card and Loan Financing operation, providing recommendations or problem solving as and when required.
  • To manage Strategic Department, review monthly management reports, Department Performance Reporting to respective Business Unit.
  • To support in preparing variance analysis on performance as well as cost analysis for difference types of meeting purposes.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • To work closely with Internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance of Finance processes and initiate operations efficiency improvement to existing processes if required
  • To comply with policies and procedures, clear desk policy, store P & C information in locked place, shred unwanted documents; be mindful of internet/email usage, security and proprietary information to reduce the risk of security breaches.
  • Support the company’s business direction and growth

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting / Finance and/or professional accounting qualification in ACCA, CIMA, CPA or MACPA.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with established companies and/or reputable audit firms.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of financial processes
  • Keep abreast with changes in financial reporting standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadline.
  • A good team player, strong in Finance Operation skill and leadership skills
  • Think out-of-box and recommend alternative solutions for challenges encountered.
