Lead and optimize the end-to-end Procure-to Pay (PtP) activities in the region. (EMEA or Asia), in line with strategy, policy and guidelines in such a way that the operational and tactical PtP processes run efficiently and effectively meeting the agreed service levels ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

Organize and manage the department effectively and continuously optimize to improve quality with less costs. Being responsible for meeting KPIs, Continuous Improvement (CI) targets, providing leadership, people management and coaching to the team Leaders and team members.

What We Ask

  • Master/ degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable or a GBS environment within an international and multicultural environment.
  • At least 5+ years of leadership experience with people management in a managerial position (3-6 direct reports and 30+ indirect reports).
  • Shared service experience in food & beverage is an advantage.
  • Excellent and comprehensive E2E PtP process knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong people & stakeholder management in a multicultural environment.
  • Digital & automation literacy: knowledge of PtP and office applications (Excel, PowerBI, Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Baseware).
  • Continuous improvement mindset, drive change.

Vacancy Description

  • Contribute to the development of the PtP strategy and take responsibility to implement the PtP strategy. Contribute to the development of the GBS strategy and policies.
  • Lead the E2E PtP teams on their daily activities and priority setting in line with performance targets, service level agreements and stakeholder satisfaction. Monitor and steer performance. Own StP governance with the Business Units in the GEO.
  • Translate the overall FrieslandCampina/Finance/Procurement strategy and PtP input into a year plan/budget for the PtP team as part of the GBS organsiation and acquire approval. Ensure implementation and assessment of the financial (year) plan/budget for the department that is aligned and approved by GBS LT.
  • Provide insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting principles.
  • Ensure monthly KPI/OPI reports are produced (QBR, MBR), according to defined formats, procedures and legislation. Safeguard accurate and timely reports towards key stakeholders on key performance indicators.
  • Lead, coach, develop and appraise team leaders and team members. Lead all HR initiatives (hiring, performance appraisal, development, communication etc.). Implement a robust back-up and knowledge retention plan. Ensuring adequate people management for direct reports (continuous dialogues and 1:1s, talent development, maintaining high engagement) and succession planning.
  • Co-owns the company financial and procurement policies associated with PtP, Adheres to the standard operating procedures (SOP) associated to PtP and improves SOPs where nessecary or relevant. Owns the ICF controls associated to PtP.
