Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solar Procurement Executive located in Petaling Jaya. The Solar Procurement Executive job description will be as follow;

1. Ensure purchasing activities for technical items done according to the SOP and ISO standard.

2. Conduct cost sourcing activities by analyzing and compiling the market condition for present and future pricing, availability, lead time and capacity of goods and services.

3. Handle price negotiation with vendor or service provider to obtain competitive price.

4. Handle Invoice and Purchase Order.

5. Handle project cashflow by client, contractor and supplier.

6. Involve in tender preparation and submission.

7. Assist client for any application & submission with Authority such as JKR, TNB, SEDA, Suruhanajaya Tenaga, CIDB, Majlis Perbandaran, etc.

8. Assist Sales and Development executive to prepare Commercial Proposal and Technical Proposal.

9. Handle marketing for Facebook and Instagram and other social account.

10. Assist Sales and Development executive for exhibition or any necessary event.

11. Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.

12. Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.

13. Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.

14. Manage operational aspects of a technical and commercial tender & prepare documentation.

15. Any duties & responsibilities given by management from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Management skills
  • Analytical and Communication skills
  • Experience in procurement for renewable energy projects
  • Knowledge of solar photovoltaic industry is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveyor, or related field
  • Malaysian citizen only
