  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Accountabilities & Key Results Areas

  • Participate in project feasibility study with the following input: Analyze and propose suitable technology or process routes, preparation of utility consumption and OPEX, preliminary layout and capex.
  • Lead front-end engineering design (FEED) study to establish design criteria and basic engineering design, with inputs from business side.
  • Responsible for engineering details such as initial layout, main plant technical specifications, prepare tender documents, technical evaluation and recommendations
  • Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) for sourcing of process plants and technology as well as evaluation of proposals from technology vendor and preparation of Technical Evaluation Summary.
  • Review engineering document submissions by technology vendor i.e., PFD and P&ID, equipment load list, anchorage drawings, plant layout, GA drawings, isometric drawings,
  • Oversee ISBL and OSBL detail engineering work by liaising with the various discipline consultants, technology vendors and construction team.
  • Engineering supports and clarification during project details engineering, construction and commissioning phases.
  • Advise the automation, electrical & philosophy of control, design specification, verify details design, clarification during construction phase and commissioning phases.
  • Budget and estimation of investment and operation cost etc.
  • Other responsibilities and authorities assigned by the superior from time-to-time.

Education and Skill Levels:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, in either palm oil oleochemical or midstream refineries expertise.
  • Working experience and/or familiarity in various palm oil processing technologies i.e., refining, fractionation, interesterification, transesterification, hydrogenation, shortening/texturizing and warehousing,
  • Good communication skills
  • Required skill(s): MS Office, AutoCAD
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
  • Applicants must be willing to travel to overseas on regular basis
  • Self-directed and highly-motivated.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy.
