Job Description

Qualify, Plan, Execute, Close

  • Oversee and manage the implementation of strategies and deliverables for Capital Markets (CM) engagements to ensure high-quality services are provided on time and exceed client expectations.
  • This includes managing fundraising exercises through capital markets and credit facility transactions, both syndicated and non-syndicated.

Systems and Process Improvement

  • Ensure that systems and processes are effectively applied to maximize departmental performance.
  • Continuously assess and optimize systems and processes, implementing necessary changes to improve departmental outcomes.
  • Manage a team of accountants responsible for client deliverables such as NAV production, financial statements, and associated reports and assist with the review process.
  • Ensure the service level agreement and accuracy of client deliverables prepared by their team.
  • Ensure that the team is trained, engaged and as efficient and effective as possible in achieving organizational goals.

Customer Relationships and Communications

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of expectations and deliverable.
  • Foster teamwork within and outside the department to ensure smooth operations and prevent miscommunication.
  • Manage client relationships and client queries and help to resolve issues/queries raised by our clients.

  • Promote a high-performance culture focused on competence, commitment, and client orientation to ensure high-quality deliverable and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Preferably with Master or Chartered Qualification (CPA/MIA/ACCA etc)
  • CFA preferred
  • Min 8 years’ experience with 3 years in capital market industry, with 2 years in managerial position
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills in planning, organising, analyses and result oriented
  • In-depth knowledge and technical expertise in capital market transactions
