About The Job
job description:
- Act as the Global Process Engineering (GPE) representative at the local site and coordinate with the global engineering team.
- Manage complex project introductions and support simpler projects.
- Lead new project, process, technology, and methodology introductions for the global business
- Support engineering roadmap, industrial plan, and contribute to plant business growth.
- Handle RFQ and business case studies, along with Capex applications and justifications.
- Oversee project milestones and report to stakeholders regularly.
- Lead local engineering team with competency training and manage continuous improvements in quality and productivity.
- You will be required to travel overseas
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent
- Atleast 8 years of hands on experience in NPI and manufacturing engineering, preferably with international project transfers.
- Expertise in IATF16949, new product/process introduction, industrial engineering, takt time, cycle time, line balancing, OEE, and productivity improvement.
- Skilled in problem-solving tools (5Why, DOE, DMAIC, 8D) and CAD for jig and fixture design.
- Strong fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
