Senior Executive, Maintenance Engineer (based in Melaka, Malaysia)

About This Role

To manage all facets of the PETRONAS Lubricants International Sales, product development and technical services for the whole Asia Pacific region and contribute effectively to its business growth.

Key Accountabilities

1) Main Task

• To ensure the equipment reliability and availability for production to produce the product by performing a good maintenance activity as per scheduled and proactive maintenance.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and contractors for some maintenance activities, machine spare parts etc.
• To lead store personnel in performing day to day inventory activities including receiving materials and services, managing spare part storage and movement and managing physical inventory.
• To maintain, repair and service all pneumatic operated instruments for all filling, packing and conveying machine to minimize any production downtime.
• Responsible for the schedule and unscheduled maintenance and repair of all equipment and operation systems in the Plant in compliance to established and recognized PETRONAS safety guidelines and procedures.

2) Work & Safety Procedures

• Demonstrates equipment operations or work procedures to new employees or assign employees to experienced workers for training, train employees in work and safety procedures and company policies.

2) Operations Support

• Timely review and update the equipment listing, history and asset register in SAP.
• Timely review and update the Equipment Criticality Assessment (ECA) for all equipment.
• Develop equipment BOM, SOW For OPEX & CAPEX, PO,RO & Service Contract.
• Monitor and control maintenance costs (OPEX) consistently and take necessary actions that may cause significant variance against the planned budget.
• Work normally flows and to plan the maintenance activity in the SAP. Required spare part or consumable for maintenance activity will be checked and reserved in SAP. Any new request for BOM will be informed of by technicians and will be updated by Senior Executive, Maintenance.

3) Liaise with External Parties

• Liaising with contractor’s maintenance requirement or repair services.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers, TNB and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or other professional certificates in any related field or equivalent.
• Approximately 6 years of relevant maintenance experiences in FMCG/ Semi-conductor/Petrochemicals & operations or oil & gas industry. A plus if has minimum 5 years experiences in CMMS, SAP, PLC and Microsoft Project.
• Experienced in the use of the 7 QC tools.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and / or IATF 16949 Management Systems.
• Hands-on experience in Material Management with SAP MM, SAP PM and SAP SRM modules would have an added advantage.
• Proficient in technical drawings and P&ID drawings.
• Excellent command in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and oral.
