RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the Checkout Experience: Take full ownership of the checkout process, from initial customer interaction to payment and fulfillment. Ensure a smooth, conversion-focused experience that maximizes customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the Roadmap: Define, communicate, and execute the vision and roadmap for the Checkout Squad. Prioritize high-impact initiatives based on value vs. cost, including key roadmap items such as flexible payment options, bundling add-ons, and social-proof elements.
  • Drive Checkout Innovations: Continuously optimize checkout flows with short build-measure-learn cycles to reduce friction and drive urgency #FOMO
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams on the checkout process. Be the key liaison between the squad and senior management, aligning team goals with the broader company strategy.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics, customer feedback, and user research to identify opportunities for optimization, drive product decisions, and continuously improve conversion rates and basket sizes.
  • Champion Agile Practices: Implement agile methodologies within the squad, ensuring quick iterations and MVPs that create value for customers. Help the team stay lean, reducing process waste to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure Compliance & Security: Collaborate with backend teams to ensure secure and compliant payment integrations, with a focus on user data protection.
  • Own Key Results: Set and achieve product OKRs, owning key metrics such as order completion rates, basket size uplift, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster Team Growth: Build a transparent and psychologically safe environment where collaboration thrives, and every team member feels empowered to raise ideas and voice concerns.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience: 4+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in eCommerce or a fast-growing company with best-in-class checkout systems.
  • Customer-Centric: Deep empathy for users and a commitment to creating the best possible shopping experience.
  • Results-Oriented: A natural prioritizer, capable of focusing on high-impact initiatives that deliver measurable results in traffic, conversions, and engagement.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong experience in leveraging analytics, A/B testing, and user research to inform product decisions.
  • Agile Expertise: Hands-on experience with agile product development and fostering an agile culture within cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic & Detail-Oriented: Able to zoom in on the details without losing sight of the broader strategy.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience working closely with engineering teams
  • Strong Communicator: Able to clearly articulate product goals, roadmaps, and updates to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
