Job Description:

Talent Learning & Leadership Program

Our Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Learning & Development will work on talent learning and development projects and initiatives in the Astro Learning & Development team:

  • Oversee, plan and execute the Astro Leadership Development framework and program, working with senior level leadership and all Astro managers.
  • Curate leadership and employee programs by conducting learning needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills within the organization.
  • Develop customized training programs for all employee levels that align with Astro objectives.
  • Develop various instructional methods, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training, to meet diverse learning needs. Develop tools and measure effectives of training programs.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels, ensuring trainings are well-organized, and engaging.
  • Develop content to market training programs internally while tracking learning hours and learning data analytics through dashboards.

Talent Management & Development

  • Developing plans and frameworks for Talent Management projects that develop Astro talents, including internal mobility and career development paths.
  • Conduct regular talent reviews and performance evaluations to identify high-potential employees and determine areas and plans for development.
  • Run workshops for high potential employees & leaders on a regular basis.

Requirements

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

The AVP for Learning & Development candidate that we are looking for:

  • Have at least 8-10 years working experience in HR. Having previous experience as a HR Generalist or in Learning & Development and/or Talent Management will be an added advantage.
  • Able to develop frameworks for learning, development and talent management programs, thinking in a structured manner.
  • Having previous hands-on experience in managing and developing leadership programs will be an added advantage.
  • Practical experience in content development, as well as planning and overseeing training events and programs.
  • Strong project management skills. Capable of managing multiple programs and activities simultaneously.
  • Having a SHRM or HRCI certifications will provide an advantage.
  • Have strong organizational, interpersonal, public speaking, verbal and written communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Have strong sense of teamwork. Able to communicate with people at various seniority levels and work together in a project or team environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Powerpoint.
