As an English Language Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering ELS academic programs, focusing on producing effective lesson plans and assessments. You will be tasked with creating a supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and evaluating student performance through various methods.

Collaboration with other instructors is essential, as you will coordinate attendance records and evaluations, ensuring adherence to center policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned ELS academic programs as directed by the Academic Director or Coordinator.
  • Prepare lesson plans, exercises, and tests.
  • Test, evaluate, and counsel students on their classroom performance.
  • Maintain a conducive classroom environment for learning.
  • Coordinate instruction, attendance records, and evaluation with fellow teachers.
  • Adhere to center policies and procedures.
  • Complete required administrative paperwork.
  • Maintain performance and attendance records.
  • Manage center resource materials and files.
  • Refer non-academic issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in classroom observations for professional development.
  • Engage in administrative meetings and professional development activities.
  • Contribute to teaching material development at a local level.
  • Share information about after-class activities when requested.
  • Maintain cleanliness in classrooms and staff areas.
  • Substitute in emergency situations if necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Education: B.Ed / BA/BSc. + CELTA or other TEFL/TESOL qualification (Minimum 120 hours)

Experience: At least 4 years of relevant ESL/EFL experience, including online teaching.
