Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Timely monitor news & Bursa announcement relating to securities, counter margin exposure at client level and company level, as well as adequately take necessary action as risk mitigating measures.
- Prepare write-up and seek approval for clients' request for SMF applications (new application, increase limit and request for change in terms).
- Conduct periodic review and monitoring on counters and/or margin accounts at daily, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly basis.
- Prepare and send notification letter to remisier/clients.
- Take note on incoming warrant maturity, corporate exercise (bonus issues, share consolidation etc.), new counters and take adequate action.
- Data management/analysis for management use and/or make informed decisions.
- Prepare daily margin positions for margin call to ensure notice and timely issued to clients and exceptional cases are recorded with justification and relevant approval obtained.
- Attend timely to DBT / Contract Amendment.
- Prepare daily Ad hoc & regulatory reporting.
- Review and ensure timely process of client's requests for deposition / withdrawal of collateral.
- Ensure data accuracy for daily receipt journal and bill adjustment report.
- Ensure timely process of corporate action in accordance with client's request.
- Performing account maintenance.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong in multi-tasking to complete tasks within stipulated time.
- Have a strong problem-solving skill to deal with internal & external stakeholders.
- Able to work well independently as well as in a team setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have knowledge in monitoring market trends.
- High attention to details and strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge in banking regulatory environment and regulations.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
Language(s)
- English, Malay, Mandarin (not mandatory but useful)
