Aircraft Technician (BMM)

Base Maintenance Malaysia Sdn Bhd (BMM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SIAEC. BMM will operate hangar facilities in Subang, Malaysia, specializing in aircraft maintenance work. The location of work will be at Subang, Malaysia.

Purpose

Aircraft technician will be part of a maintenance team led by a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE), he/she will be tasked to perform Mechanical (B1), Avionics (B2), Sheet metal, or Engine related (on-wing or off-wing) tasks on aircraft as instructed by the LAEs. He/she is to ensure that all tasks are performed at the highest standards and in accordance with the approved Aircraft Maintenance Manual procedures and regulation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance tasks
• Attend to aircraft routine scheduled/ ad hoc checks and other base maintenance duties
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and/or engines and all associated aircraft systems
• Perform duties under directive/supervision of LAE
• Perform operational and/or functional test
• Ensure work is performed in full compliance with approved and applicable technical data (procedure)
• Manage and maintain tool & equipment store and provide recommendations, if applicable

Requirements

• Must be a technician in an operational capacity for at least 2 years
• Possess the relevant license from Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM)
