About this opportunity:

We invite you to join our internationally diverse team as a Company Controller at Ericsson. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, governance, and risk management within the organization. Upholding the highest standards of legal entity accounting records, you will offer your expert advice in accounting, treasury, and tax related matters. You will contribute to efficiency by setting the framework for the Company Control organization. Your expertise will shape our processes and tools, enhancing operations in our control hubs.

What you will do:

  • Ensure compliance to the Ericsson Entity Governance Work instruction.
  • Support the Entity Head in securing the correct governance of the Entity.
  • LE SPOC related to the financial and risk management of the Legal Entity supported by respective assurance functions.
  • Ensure correct Legal Entity Income Statement and Balance Sheet in accordance with internal and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Ensure that the Legal Entity’s financial position is in line with the Group’s decision.
  • Ensure appropriate legal entity equity and profit levels.
  • Drive finance related improvement projects.
  • Provide expert financial advice.
  • Ensure alignment with global financial processes and compliance to Ericsson Group accounting directives.
  • Supervise activities within Company Controlling.

The skills you bring:

  • Accounting Professional Qualification i.e. ACCA, CPA or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years auditing or accounting experience with a minimum of 3 years auditing experience (for audit experience Big 4 accounting firms preferred and for accounting experience MNC experience preferred)
  • Experienced in practical application of IFRS / GAAP especially newer standards such as IFRS15.
  • Solid understanding of Business Process (ICT or Construction Industry experience preferred)
  • Experience in Financial/Accounting Systems (SAP experience preferred)
  • Understanding other finance fields such as Tax, Treasury, Business Finance or Business Control
  • Good English command (Added advantage if possessed Japanese and Korean language skills)
  • Key personal traits: Proactive, Integrity, Perseverance, Team player.
