  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With the guidance of the Head of Sectionand Unit, engagewith the borrowers, issuers, fund managers, brokers, consultants, agent banks, arrangers, regulatory authorities on fixed income investments proposals, corporate exercises and due diligence for new and existing fixed income investments;
  • Conduct in-depthresearch, recommend creditworthiness and perform timely reviews of fixed income securities;
  • Assess investment proposals and prepare investment recommendations for Management and Panel approval;
  • Collaborate alongsideinternal departments in preparing and finalizing all documentations in relation to the fixed income investments according to the approved terms and conditions;
  • Monitor economicindicators, financial and bond marketperformance and outlook;
  • Monitor ratingactions and keep abreast of material corporatenews of fixed income securities closely and produce impact analysis and credit views in a timely manner;
  • Prepare periodicand ad hoc performance reportsfor information and approval by the Management & Investment Panel;
  • Participate in investors/issuers/fund managerstownhall, conference calls,meetings and site visits as and when required and prepare reports when necessary;
  • Work with the Head of Section and Unit to ensure cohesive and efficient teamworkwhile complying with the Standard Operating Manual of the department;
  • Performing ad hoc, administrative and relief dutiesas assigned from time to time;
  • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with various stakeholders within the organisation and externally such as trustees, consultants, solicitors, banks and others investors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Not below 21 years old on the closing date of application.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any local or overseas university that recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) with a minimum CGPA 3.25 or 2:1 class above.
  • Passed SPM examination or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government with credit in Bahasa Malaysia.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in credit research/ specific deal origination/ Fixed Income investment or related fields.
  • Performance oriented, capable of offer new ideas and articulate.
  • Analytical aptitude and ability to learn new concepts.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in both Malay and English.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work as a team to deliver consistent and good quality outcomes within the stipulated timeline and according to the internal processes in place.
