Position Overview:

As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the technical expert and key liaison between our company and clients. Your role involves understanding client requirements, designing solutions with our humidity and temperature control systems, and presenting these solutions effectively to drive sales. You'll collaborate closely with both engineering teams and marketing teams to ensure the right product fit, while offering technical guidance throughout the sales process.

You will also provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and after-sales support to foster strong client relationships and satisfaction. This role requires not only sales acumen but also a strong foundation in technical problem-solving, making IT ideal for candidates with a background in engineering or technical sales.

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify customer needs and present the appropriate humidity and temperature control solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical documentation to support the sales process.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets by generating new business opportunities and expanding existing client accounts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the client’s industry and requirements.

    2. Technical Expertise & Support

    • Provide pre-sales technical assistance to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and features of the product.
    • Work with the engineering team to customize products or solutions based on specific client requirements.
    • Deliver after-sales support, offering troubleshooting and solutions as needed to maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Stay updated on product advancements and industry trends to advise customers effectively.

      3. Collaboration & Coordination

      • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, R&D, and customer service) to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
      • Conduct site visits to assess client needs and ensure that the proposed solutions are suitable for their environment.
      • Work closely with the marketing team to develop materials and strategies that support technical product sales.

        4. Market & Competitor Analysis

        • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for new product offerings or enhancements.
        • Provide feedback to product development based on customer experiences and market conditions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or Business with technical sales experience.

    Experience:

    • Fresh graduate or candidate with 1-2 years’ experience in related field.
    • Proven experience in sales engineering or technical sales, preferably in HVAC, humidity/temperature control, or related industries.
    • Familiarity with Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) standards and industry trends.
    • Experience with IoT-enabled systems and Industry 4.0 technologies is a plus.

      Skills:

      • Strong technical knowledge in ambient air control systems.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex systems to non-technical clients.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
      • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
      • Ability to travel for client meetings and site visits.
