About Our Client

Our Client, a global leader in instrumentation and Analytic devices is looking for a Global Segment Manager covering their Power division. Our client employs a diverse suite of technologies, such as automated monitoring systems and data analysis, to assist customers in conserving significant volumes of water annually. This role will focus on a global portfolio whiles collaborating with their regional office.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the General Manager and your responsibilities includes:

  • Serve as the global expert for the business in the power sector.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market trend evaluations to inform global strategy development.
  • Provide strategic insights into product applications and identify new opportunities within the segment.
  • Drive growth initiatives by working directly with customers and collaborating with local sales teams to enhance product differentiation and increase win rates.
  • Offer support to local marketing and sales teams through customer visits, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Represent the company in industry trade organizations and standards committees.
  • Partner with Product Management to offer competitive positioning insights.
  • Deliver presentations and develop high-value content, such as marketing materials, white papers, and success stories.
  • Train customers and global sales teams on product applications.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing insights to the business head.
  • Work effectively within a matrixed organization, influencing and motivating teams without direct authority.
  • Be open to extensive international travel (up to 50%).


The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Degree in Engineering or Sciences, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Sales, Marketing, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the power industry, including market trends and processes.
  • Familiarity with process instrumentation, particularly analytical tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to navigate and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated and organized with a strong independent working style.
  • Cultural adaptability and confidence in international environments.
