Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or Quality Control department in the Manufacturing industry (Automotive, Plastic Injection or other relevant fields)
• Familiarity with QMS (ISO 9001 & IATF 16949) standard and process improvement techniques (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA).
• Knowledge of quality control tools, control plan, FMEA, 8D & SPC, measurement and inspection method.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibility

• Responsible for assisting the QA Manager to oversight of product quality assurance from Incoming to Outgoing and be the contact point to customers and to ensure Quality KPI objectives are met.
• Manage customer complaints and drive follow-up improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for a quality improvement activity.
• Lead and mentor other QA engineers with QA data analysis, trending, and reporting to coordinate automotive Quality System readiness and compliance with IATF standards and customer-specific requirement (CSR) standards
• Develop and implement a Quality Control Plan and Inspection Plan for New Products to ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
• Responsible for carrying out all process auditing and conducting training related to quality matters.
