Job Descriptions:

  • Manage highly profitable businesses and achieve targets for sales, growth, and market share for assigned key accounts (KA) in designated territories/countries/ markets
  • Lead strategy development and execute dedicated action plan for assigned KAs, including preparation and negotiation of contracts (i.e. tier bonus, trade promotion, tenders etc.)
  • Analyse market dynamics and trends including competitive intelligence activities on KAs and key competitors. Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within KAs to achieve revenue targets.
  • Organize customer events (i.e. round table discussion, plant visits, etc.) and other programs (i.e. patients workshop) independently or with the marketing / medical/corporate department in line with the KA action plan.
  • Champion listing of products in KA and maintain long-lasting business relations with key clients within designated territories/countries / markets.
  • Contribute to mapping of stakeholders, including segmentation and profiling of KA / medical experts.
  • Monitor client net promoter score / satisfaction surveys and proactively address any complaints to ensure long-term account retention.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations as well as cross functional teams to deliver customized solutions to KAs.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on key account performance, revenue forecasts, and market insights.

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess a degree in the field of Business / Marketing or any science discipline. An MBA would be considered a vital asset.
  • With a minimum of 4 years of relevant key account management experience, preferably in a multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare company.
  • For oncology business, experience in handling oncology, hematology and / or specialty care therapeutic area is preferred.
  • Experience in government tender management and hybrid sales are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in using Sales CRM systems and tools such as SalesForce.com, Veeva, IQVIA, PowerBI, Tableu etc is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel extensively within Malaysia.
