Marketing Manager (FMCG)

Location: Rawang, Selangor
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify customer needs and preferences by conducting market research.
- Recommend enhancements to current and future product lines by evaluating product specifications, assessing new ideas, and considering packaging modifications.
- Monitor market competition by comparing company products with competitors’ offerings.
- Define product marketing strategies and communication objectives based on market research.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to develop sales strategies that enhance product market share.
- Evaluate sales performance by conducting field visits with sales teams and analyzing sales data.
- Prepare and present short-term and long-term sales forecasts, special reports, and analyses to support management decision-making.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability by adjusting production schedules as needed.
- Lead new product launches by analyzing product requirements, conducting ROI assessments, and coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Market new products based on research data, production costs, and sales forecasts, and manage special or customized orders.
- Stay updated on industry trends by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, and building a strong professional network.
- Contribute to team success by achieving related goals as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Business Studies, Sales, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Specialization in Marketing, Business Development, or a similar discipline.
- Proven track record within the FMCG industry.
- Minimum of 3 years in a relevant position.
