Job Purpose To manage and strategize the Control & Instrument (C&I) Maintenance performance, aiming to maximize yield and enhance overall asset efficiency. This includes optimizing costs and resources while ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and statutory requirements. Adherence to standard maintenance procedures and key performance indicators is essential to guarantee customer comfort and satisfaction. Main Accountabilities Develop, lead, organize, and oversee all Control and Instrument maintenance programs to ensure compliance with best engineering practices and regulatory requirements. This will enhance equipment reliability and performance, helping achieve plant objectives. Propose and monitor the annual maintenance budget for effective cost management in the C&I section. Ensure all maintenance planning and activities are executed within budget, on schedule, and according to established procedures and specifications. Guide and monitor technicians during maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to planned tasks. Manage and oversee C&I spare parts, support equipment, and maintenance components. Identify areas for feasible enhancements and execute improvement programs using internal resources or outsourced partners. Foster leadership, engagement, motivation, and coaching among technicians to cultivate a highly engaged culture focused on meeting organizational objectives and KPIs. Assign and delegate responsibilities to support effective and efficient operations. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation, Control, or Communication Systems Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 7 years in various roles related to plant operations, maintenance, planning, and management within the power generation, petrochemical, chemical, process, or oil and gas industries. Proficiency in Control & Instrument systems, including DCS, SCADA, PLC, RTU, Networking, Computing Systems, Server-Client, Wireless Infrastructure, and ELV office systems. Technical/Functional Skills: Asset management Large facility operation and maintenance Project Management and Control CMMS and P&ID expertise Process engineering and technology across multiple disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) Techno-commercial acumen, cost estimation, and contracting strategies Strong negotiation skills Familiarity with alarm management systems, fire alarm systems, and metering and calibration processes.
