As the Special Officer to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level executive support to the Director. This position demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. The Special Officer will be responsible for managing a wide range of activities and tasks critical to the Director's effectiveness and the overall success of the organization.
The Job:
Director Support:
- Provide support to the Director in managing the Company's growth and business priorities, as well as formulating corporate policies and processes.
- Act as point of contact between the Director and internal/external stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Draft and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Facilitate effective communication between the Director and various departments within the organization and/or with external parties.
Business Development/ Sales Support:
- Work closely with the Director on business development and potential collaborations.
- Main point of contact to drive, extract leads and mine for global markets.
- Survey and maintain the usage of SDR tools, handling renewal, termination, and training.
Project Management:
- Work closely with the Executive and Senior Management team to align strategies and goals.
- Oversee any project(s) assigned by the Director.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to drive project initiatives forward.
Other tasks
- Handle relationships with certain government stakeholders
- Responsible for A-Z coordination of events/conferences.
- Manage and update the Director and company profile for PR purposes.
- Possess at least 1 years of work experience, preferably from Business Development, Marketing, Finance or Project Management backgrounds
- Passion for learning how to run a digital business and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; numeracy is a must.
- Time management skills: able to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and possess good interpersonal skills.
