Role Summary
The incumbent is responsible for achieving sales targets by promoting our Wiring Devices (PL2), Residential Systems (PL3), Building Systems (PL4), and PVC Conduits and Equipment (PL9) product lines to Retailers, Contractors, and Investors.
Criteria
• Prefer Chinese or Indian candidates fluent in Mandarin.
• Prefer female candidates, but males can be considered.
• Immediate availability.
• Willing to travel outstation.
• More than 3 years of experience.
• Must have own transport.
Role Responsibilities
• Acquire deep product knowledge on all Legrand’s products.
• Understand the profile and buying needs of customers and expand Legrand’s support and business by providing professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support.
• Prospect new customers and developers, conducting cold-calls and sales visits.
• Promote product lines through solid sales presentations and marketing through events and networking sessions.
• Prepare concept proposals, specifications, quotations, and generate sales turnover according to targets.
• Provide professional pre-sales and post-sales services, including technical support, to customers (Retailers, Contractors, Investors).
• Develop a clear understanding of all products and provide training (internal and external) when required.
• Carry out product presentations to prospective accounts.
• Handle pricing enquiries, follow-up orders, and delivery schedules.
• Provide sales reports to the Head of Sales.
Salary: RM7,000 (including allowances)
Role Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales (especially in the construction line).
• Strong customer focus and an advocate of excellent customer service.
• Sales-driven to meet business targets and goals.
• Ability to provide appropriate support for sales and satisfy customers’ expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to converse in English, Malay, and Chinese dialects.
• Possess own transport.
• Ready to travel as required to Klang Valley and other places in peninsular Malaysia.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English is preferred due to the need to interact with Mandarin-speaking customers.
