Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator

Main purpose of role: • Operate the waste water treatment plant and ensure smooth operation, as well as performing performance monitoring on waste water parameters in the plant Key Responsibilities: • To perform start plant and stop plant operation. • To ensure WWTP operation is in good condition. • To record the necessary parameters in log sheet from time to time. • To perform COD testing for waste water sample. • To apply equipment for testing waste water quality. • Report to production supervisor and executives. • To carry out shift handover at control room. • Responsible for safety and housekeeping at plant and surrounding before hand over to next shift. • To take good care of plant’s equipment and participation in assisting of repair and maintenance whenever required. • To comply with company rules and procedures. • To perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time. • To take good care of machinery and cleanliness.
