1. Team Management: You'll be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, and managing staff members, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff. Creating a positive work environment and ensuring that your team delivers excellent customer service is crucial.
2. Inventory Management: Monitoring and managing inventory levels, including coffee beans, syrups, cups, lids, and other supplies. You'll need to ensure that inventory is ordered in a timely manner to prevent shortages and waste while minimizing costs.
3. Quality Control: Maintaining high-quality standards for all products, including coffee beverages, pastries, and snacks. Regularly inspecting equipment like espresso machines and grinders to ensure they are clean and in good working condition is essential.
4. Customer Service: Interacting with customers to address any concerns or complaints and ensure a positive experience. You may also be responsible for implementing customer loyalty programs or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
5. Financial Management: Developing and managing budgets, tracking expenses, and analyzing financial reports to ensure profitability. This may involve setting prices for menu items, controlling labor costs, and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
6. Marketing and Promotion: Working with the marketing team (if applicable) to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. This could include social media campaigns, promotions, or collaborations with local businesses or events.
7. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, cleanliness, and proper storage of perishable items. Conducting regular inspections and training staff on proper procedures are essential to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
8. Business Development: Identifying opportunities for growth and expansion, such as opening new locations or introducing new products or services. This may involve conducting market research, analyzing competition, and developing business plans.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
