  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Lead the formulation development process, ensuring the creation of innovative and sustainable products that meet market demands and regulatory standards. Drive the integration of formulation science and product safety, aligning with our commitment to sustainable growth within PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad.

Job Description:

  • Customer Engagement and Product Development: Lead customer engagement efforts to understand market needs and guide the development of personal care formulations & manage the end-to-end product development process, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and industry standards.
  • Formulation Design and Sustainability: Facilitate the design of safe and sustainable formulations in line with international product life-cycle design criteria and best practices, focusing on innovation and performance.
  • Formulation Risk Assessment: Implement planned risk assessment programs for new formulations, ensuring accurate and transparent communication regarding product safety and performance, including the preparation of relevant documentation.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Spearhead initiatives to enhance the sustainability of the personal care product portfolio, utilizing advanced formulation techniques and conducting stability studies to optimize product performance.
  • Team Development : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to your team, fostering a deep understanding of formulation techniques and processes & encourage the development of a library of formulations aligned with current market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline
  • PhD is an added advantage.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of working experience in formulation development, ideally within the personal care industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in team management and leadership.
  • Familiarity with designed experimentation and statistical data analysis is a plus.
  • Proven experience conducting clinical trials for skin and hair care products.
  • Strong project management skills and a self-starting attitude.
