  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Network Engineer at Skill Quotient located in Damansara. The Network Engineer will be responsible for network administration, network engineering, troubleshooting, network security, and network design on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology (Computer/Telecommunication/Network) or equivalent

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant networking experience in routing, switching, SD-WAN, IP MPLS, VPN, etc.

• CCNA or CCNP certification will be an advantage

• Have strong leadership qualities and able to give technical direction.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work with all levels of personnel from end users to senior management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with other senior leaders in the organization.

• Good analytical, logical and problem solving skills.

Essential

• Experience assessing large-company campus, branch office, WAN, and data centre business needs, designing and documenting solutions to meet these needs, and driving external vendors where applicable to deliver against product and software roadmaps

• Strong functional knowledge of TCP/IP required.

• Strongly versed across a variety of hardware and software manufacturers, and a high degree of comfort and experience in mixed vendor environments

• Strong hands-on experience with designing, configuring and troubleshooting network related devices.

• Fluent with state of art network technology and cloud infrastructure

Flexible approach to working hours – after hours support during project implementation

  • • Self-starter and highly motivated individual who demonstrates the ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritize and effectively meet deadlines while working on multiple assignments simultaneously
