Requirements
- Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proven Knowledge in CNC programming and CNC machining.
- Perform CNC Programming for Production Set up and operate CNC Machine to provide the parts as per drawing and within specification
- Candidates should be able to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments such as Production and Naval Architecture is essential.
- Willingness to work overtime when required is necessary.
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia are a must.
- Possession of own transport, preferably.
Job Description:
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand part requirements.
- Converting a 3D CAD (computer-aided design) model into a set of machine-readable instructions
- Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, fixtures, and tools.
- Program CNC machines using CAM software or manual input, including toolpath creation and parameter setting.
- Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as necessary to ensure proper operation.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to optimize performance and quality.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production managers to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, and inspection results.
Working hours
Monday – Thursday: 8.00 am – 6.30 pm
Friday: 8.00 am – 5.30 pm
