Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cloud Support Engineer with Voice Support located in Kuala Lumpur. The Cloud Support Engineer with Voice Support will be responsible for providing technical support for cloud-based applications and services, as well as voice support services, and will act as a customer advocate. The Cloud Support Engineer with Voice Support will troubleshoot issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.

Job Description and Qualifications

  • Responsible for implementation and support of IVR/ACD scripts
  • Serves as resident expert for PureCloud (Genesys Cloud) capabilities and changes by evaluating/validating work requests, documenting requirements and laying out design artefacts for implementation
  • Provides day-to-day support, proactive maintenance and performs independent complex IVR system troubleshooting and perform root-cause analysis
  • Support customer acceptance testing activities and troubleshoot/correct any issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements
  • Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized
  • Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure security and compliance of cloud environment.
  • Automate cloud operations and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
  • Optimize cloud performance and cost.
  • Develop and maintain cloud documentation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance.
  • Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions.
  • Conduct regular security assessments.
  • Manage cloud resource provisioning.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for cloud support.
  • Develop and implement cloud best practices.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with development teams for cloud integration.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call stand by rotation to address and resolve technical escalations
  • Cloud certification such as Azure certication
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3 or more years supporting enterprise contact center technologies.

Relevant certifications are a plus.
