Job Summary:

The Head of Marketing Communications will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing communications initiatives to enhance the corporate brand and drive awareness, engagement, and growth for the company. This role is essential for positioning the company as a leader in the IT/Data Center industry by developing and managing external and internal communications that align with the company's business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate branding, operational marketing, and a deep understanding of the IT and data center industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Branding and Positioning:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate branding strategy to enhance the company's image and reputation in the IT/Data Center industry.

- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels, including digital, print, events, and internal communications.

- Work closely with senior leadership to articulate and promote the company’s vision, mission, and values both internally and externally.

- Oversee brand identity guidelines and ensure adherence across the organization.

2. Marketing Communications Strategy:

- Lead the creation of an integrated marketing communications plan that supports business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.

- Collaborate with the product, sales, and operations teams to align marketing campaigns with business goals and technical capabilities.

- Oversee content creation, including press releases, blogs, white papers, case studies, and social media content that positions the company as an industry leader.

- Develop and manage relationships with industry influencers, media, and partners to enhance brand visibility.

3. Digital Marketing and Media Relations:

- Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media campaigns, and online advertising to build brand awareness and engagement.

- Manage media relations, including writing and distributing press releases, handling media inquiries, and coordinating interviews.

- Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, providing regular reports on the effectiveness of campaigns and making data-driven adjustments.

4. Internal Communications:

- Develop and implement internal communications strategies that engage and inform employees about company updates, culture, and brand messaging.

- Collaborate with HR to support internal branding initiatives that enhance employee engagement and alignment with corporate goals.

- Organize and lead internal events, such as town halls, to ensure transparency and alignment within the organization.

5. Crisis Communication Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for crisis communications, developing and executing communication plans that protect the company's reputation during challenging situations.

- Prepare crisis communication materials and train senior leadership on crisis communication protocols.

6. Budget and Team Management:

- Manage the marketing communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and individual goals.

- Work closely with external agencies and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of campaigns.

7. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry associations.

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, ensuring the company’s brand and messaging are effectively communicated.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

- 8+ years of experience in marketing communications, with a strong focus on corporate branding and digital marketing, preferably within the IT or data center industry.

- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing communication strategies that align with business objectives.

- Strong understanding of the IT/Data Center industry, including trends, challenges, and competitive landscape.

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

- Experience in crisis communication management and handling high-pressure situations.

- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO/SEM, social media, and analytics tools.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
