JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic and Financial Planning

  • Lead the development of the company’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment across subsidiaries.
  • Integrate the financial objectives of the parent company and subsidiaries into the strategic planning process.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation across subsidiaries to ensure financial performance aligns with strategic goals.

Innovation and Growth Initiatives (Across Subsidiaries)

  • Lead and support subsidiaries in identifying growth opportunities, such as new markets, products, or services.
  • Report on subsidiary performance to the Executive Committee, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Subsidiary Management

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the operational and financial teams within subsidiaries.
  • Ensure that each subsidiary’s strategy aligns with the broader company objectives
  • Regularly assess the financial health and performance of subsidiaries, addressing any risks or underperformance.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders from both the parent company and subsidiaries to ensure strategic and financial alignment.
  • Facilitate communication and best practice sharing among subsidiary leaders to drive operational and financial synergies.
  • Lead the execution of strategic initiatives across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze the financial and operational performance of subsidiaries.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting for subsidiaries.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highly skilled in analyzing financial reports, with a keen eye for detail to identify irregularities or discrepancies.
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic planning and financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple business units or subsidiaries.
  • A strong background in finance would be a benefit.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment, effectively managing evolving strategies and diverse challenges across subsidiaries.
  • Strong discernment in assessing individuals, as they will likely be responsible for making personnel changes in subsidiaries, including identifying and addressing underperforming employees or those involved in unethical activities.
