Support the housekeeping department in the cleaning and make-up of hotel guest rooms, sorting out and changing of linens and towels, and cleaning of all public areas which includes hotel lobby door and windows, walls, ceilings, staircases, toilets, surau, ballroom, meeting room etc Ensure hotel rooms are well-prepared, cleanliness and presentation are of high standard and quality meeting guests satisfaction Operate and maintain all housekeeping equipment in good working order Sound knowledge of housekeeping standards, policies and procedures Effectively communicate while ensuring and maintaining an effective and positive working relationships with other colleagues Maintain hotel housekeeping standards especially when cleaning hotel guest rooms, changing of linens and towels, cleaning of toilet/shower, cleaning of public areas and public common areas, staircases, ballroom, meeting room and replenish amenities in hotel room etc Ensure the cleanliness of the housekeeping pantry and trolley Be professional and ensure personal grooming and appearance and good personal hygiene Ensure timeliness, quality and deadlines are met Consults with superiors on daily requirements, and any requests by guests All other tasks and responsibilities as required and directed by superiors or the Management
