  • Gather market intelligence - Monitor all key initiatives as well as key trends in the international market (category, consumer, competitor, customer).
  • Maximizing the use of data tools to drill and ensure understanding of market & consumer (AC Nielsen, Kantar, etc).
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, collaborate to create and evaluate productiveness and marketing initiatives ROI.
  • Track A&P budgets and spends - towards maximizing gains and reducing costs.
  • Prepare reports on brand performance and sales.
  • Work closely with factory and R&D for product development, packaging and consumer testing to craft out opportunities and optimizing existing product mixes for launch in market.
  • Establish effective working relationships with cross functional teams to develop Brand Building and Trade execution plans to be executed in market.
  • Work closely with Agencies & Supplier to establish impactful brand plans for impactful execution in market. Creative Agencies, Media Agencies & Trade BTL Agencies.
  • Manage and Coach direct report(s) and multi-functional team partner to get the best from everyone, including but not limited to recruiting, writing and implementing robust development plans, coaching and managing employee performance throughout the year.
  • To perform any other ad-hoc duties from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least BSc/BA in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of Marketing experience in fast paced brand (Regional and/or Local Marketing) with a strong consumer focus. Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix of product pricing, packaging, distribution and positioning.
  • Experience in launching end-to-end Campaigns in market and new product development launch.
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Highly creative with ability to think out of box.
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices.
  • Persuasiveness: pro-activity and foresight to point out opportunities and risks to the business.
  • Strong track record of consistent in-market delivery.
  • Strong Accountability and Ownership in task and deliverables.
  • Willingness to engage in robust discussions on strategy with a strong point of view.
