Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Investment Banking Coverage/ M&A professional at CGS International Securities Malaysia located in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The role involves conducting financial analysis, modeling, due diligence, and managing investments on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

  • More than 7 years of experience in the fields of Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking coverage and Mergers and Acqusitions. Candidates with no relevant experience need not apply.
  • Strong track record of originating, execution and closing of CF and M&A deals.
  • Preferably with experience dealing with cross border transactions.
  • Strong Analyticial and Financial Modeling skills
  • Strong clientele base in both public and private company space
  • Strong ability and vast experience in Due Diligence for both IPOs, M&As and other corporate exercises.
  • Good relationship with buy side both private and public funds.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field from a top tier university.
  • Candidates with CFA or MBA preferred.
  • Compulsory: CMSRL holder for Advising in Corporate Finance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Mastery of English and Malay is a must. Candidates with Chinese language skills is a strong plus.
  • This role is only open for Malaysians, non-Malaysians need not apply
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
