Responsibility
Marketing and Business Development:
- Responsible for the implementation of strategic plans in terms of marketing promotions on their responsible business units nationwide to achieve sales and marketing targets.
- Assist sales team to develop their mid-term plans and annual budgets.
- Demonstrate competent medical science, product, customer, and competitor’s knowledge which includes gathering of competitive market intelligence to develop countermeasures against other competitive brands.
- Establish strategic initiatives with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to support continuous success of Sysmex solutions.
- Organize and participate in marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars/webinars, new product launches etc. Define and review objectives; measure outcome (survey questionnaire); generate insights and follow through execution of tactical plan from marketing activities.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to manage business units related matter including product forecasting, product registration and resolve customer issues and complaints.
Clinical / Scientific Initiatives:
- Identify key sites and investigators to conduct evidence-based studies to demonstrate values of Sysmex products and services.
- Work with investigators and internal teams in analyzing study results and troubleshooting problems.
- Develop and delivery of both scientific and clinical product-related presentations to support national/regional deals, seminars/webinars, and other educational programs.
- Support development of KOL database for optimal utilization of KOLs with local and regional product marketing team.
- Translates medical science, technology, & customer requirements to develop appropriate clinical marketing communications.
Requirement
- Master’s Degree / Ph.D. in Science / Medicine or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of scientific research and product marketing experience preferably in healthcare, clinical laboratory, life science or equivalent.
- Good clinical/medical knowledge and business strategy development in In-Vitro Diagnostics, Medical device, Lifesciences/Healthcare industry.
- Excellent command in spoken and written English; good communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel frequently within Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
