MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
SAP Basis Administration:
• Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems and components.
• Perform system monitoring, client copy, transport management, job scheduling, directory creation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage SAP landscape (development, testing, and production environments).
• Apply system patches, updates, add-on installation and SAP Notes as required.
Security Management:
• Design, implement, and manage SAP security policies and procedures.
• Manage, configure and maintain user account, roles and authorizations.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability and user roles assessments with regards to segregation of duties.
• General understanding on cross-functional modules transaction for roles design and user access rectification.
• Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and other security mechanisms.
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
• Monitor system health and performance using SAP Solution Manager or other tools.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage database performance and tuning.
• Perform SAP data archiving and cleanup activities.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide technical support for SAP Basis and security issues.
• Work closely with functional and development teams to resolve system issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in SAP systems.
Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document system configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP technologies and best practices.
• Involve in internal and external company audit assessment for system.
MINIMUM JOB FUNCTION
- To support SAP L1 & L2 incident / service request tickets related to Basis and Security
- To understand business processes / requirement from a customer’s perspective and develop solutions to carry out daily functions effectively.
- To provide support and guidance to end-users on any SAP related request.
- To provide advisory services on new and existing initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS / CEERTIFICATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- SAP Certificate is an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- 2+ years of experience in SAP security administration.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Experience in implementing and supporting SAP solutions.
- Have knowledge in SAP FICO, MM, SD, PS, and other major modules.
- Experience with SAP project implementation.
- Experience with ticketing system
SKILLS
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP Basis and NetWeaver technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts and authorization objects.
- Familiarity with database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Strong working knowledge and experience on OS platform (Windows) which is mandatory and Linux is a plus
- Experience with SAP cloud solution and operations (SAP BTP, CPI, Cloud Identity Service, cloud connector, etc.). is a plus
- Experience with SAP HANA, Fiori, S/4HANA is a plus.
