Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our stock and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will handle tasks related to inventory tracking, stock take, drafting purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and managing the customs clearance for stock. This role requires excellent administrative and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in managing stock levels and coordinating orders. Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Stock Management: - Perform regular stock takes to ensure accurate inventory records. - Maintain and update inventory databases, monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. - Conduct periodic audits of stock to verify accuracy and ensure proper inventory control. - Draft, issue, and manage purchase orders based on stock requirements. - Follow up with suppliers to confirm orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery. Customs & Import/Export Documentation: - Liaise with customs agents and freight forwarders to ensure smooth import/export of goods. - Track shipments from dispatch to arrival and ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods. Qualifications & Skills: - Proven experience in an administrative or inventory management role. - Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads effectively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and inventory management software. Education & Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education in business administration, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus.
