The Project Manager will support the Programme Manager in developing and implementing strategic operational plans aimed at enhancing merchant experience (throughout the customer lifecycle) and driving value within the Global Merchant Service Platform team. This role involves project implementation, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing global merchant operational plans to improve merchant experience and productivity
- Conduct data analysis to gain insights into merchant behaviour and business growth drivers
- Prepare operating reports aligned with business targets and forecasts
- Drive merchant self-service and automation initiatives cross functionally
- Maintain and develop relationships with channel customers through account support and internal coordination
- Optimise merchant onboarding processes and assist in training
- Contribute to meeting individual and team operational targets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Integration, Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance) to support programme goals
Requirements:
- Analytical, organised, proactive, results-oriented, and eager to learn
- 2+ years’ experience in payments, e-Commerce, Mobile Telecommunications, FinTech or Financial Services is advantageous
- Understanding of the internet/mobile ecosystem, digital goods, and e-Commerce
- Strong cross cultural communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment across timezones
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Lean Six Sigma,PMP certification or equivalent certification is a plus
