Responsibilities:

  • Manage implementation of projects/contracts involving in-house manufactured products/ outsource products, from beginning until completion.
  • Manage project schedules & costing to ensure project is completed within time frame & budget.
  • Liaise & coordinate with clients and all related departments and factory on project implementations.
  • Initiate appropriate corrective & preventive actions so as to maintain good control of project.
  • Prepare and submit weekly & monthly Project Progress Report (where applicable) to both internal and external (where applicable).
  • Oversee the projects for in-house manufacture/ outsource products which include Vacuum Circuit Breakers, Feeder Pillars, Ring Main Units, Gas Insulated Switchgears, Air Insulated Switchgears, Compact Substation Unit, Control Relay Panels & Mobile Substations, Transformers, etc.
  • Verify project design, technicalities and specifications of products as and when necessary.
  • Entertain and monitor customers’ complaints and execute prompt co-ordination with engineering/ service/ QA/ technical team for support.
  • Responsible for all tasks related to project managements including submission of drawings to Client, reports, performance bond, meetings, site visit, requesting for bank guarantee, LOA/LOI extension, delivery coordination and any subsequent requirement that may arise to have the project runs smoothly and on time manner.
  • Built and maintain good relationship between inter departments, customers and suppliers
  • Set and confirm the arrangement of FAT and delivery with Planning Department, Logistics Department, QA Department and Clients. Prepare Invoice and follow-up collection.
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in accordance with instructions, and to comply with Quality, environment and safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.
  • To report any accident, near-miss, dangerous occurrence or dangerous condition to their line management and suggestion for further improvement
  • Ensure that all personal protective clothing/equipment provided is used Enforcement of SOP for all sections and coaching team members.
  • Carry out general managerial roles to ensure compliance with Company’s policies, develop the talent capability via training and coaching to ensure they acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and competency to carry out their responsibilities and achieve targets, ensure effective use of Company’s assets, establish good internal & external relationship and communication and to be a good role model.
