Reports To: Accounting Manager Job Summary: We are looking for an Account Assistant to join our team. This position will provide basic accounting and administrative support to the Accounting Manager and other members of the accounting team. The Account Assistant will be responsible for processing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other bookkeeping tasks. Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain and update the accounts receivable and accounts payable ledger • Prepare and enter journal entries • Reconcile bank accounts • Prepare financial statements and reports • Assist with month-end and year-end closing • Prepare and submit required tax documents • Respond to customer inquiries • Other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications: • Associate’s degree / Diploma in accounting or a related field • 1-3 years of experience in accounting • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills
