Job Description:
- To perform Event Management duties including preparing proposals, planning, executing, developing confirmed events and helping to expand the Company’s current portfolio of Clients.
- To handle operational aspects of the Company, which includes planning and managing operational effectiveness, cost control/reduction and improved efficiency.
- Service existing accounts, retain and grow businesses from an existing set of clients, building long terms relationships by providing excellent service standards.
- Oversee planning, production and execution of events, from large events to small events.
- Manage expectations of clients to close the even contract successfully and expeditiously.
- Build and distribute regular event updates and post-event evaluation.
- To handle Client and supplier liaison during and before the event and assist in collection of account payable afterwards.
- To oversee event execution duties including pre-event preparations, set-ups on-site, and supervision of crews, third party suppliers and venue staff.
- To interact with the Client Representatives and ensure all reasonable event and technical expectations and instructions are executed professionally.
- To be able to work with a team and achieve the desired results.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in working in the Events Management industry or related field (especially agency experience) is required for this position.
- Prior experience in live conference, virtual meetings and webinars is an added advantage.
- Knowledge or previous participation in Virtual and Webcast Events will be an added advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and tight datelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially in PowerPoint and Excel).
- Required language: English, including presentation/public speaking skills (Verbal proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an advantage).
