We are seeking to add a great Facilities & Maintenance Technician to our team. This role is responsible for performing routine semi-skilled work in the maintenance of manufacturing facility locations & machines.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for maintaining various parts of machine equipment appropriately and efficiently.
  • Perform PM activities on periodic basic and equipment troubleshooting.
  • To maintain all equipment are in good condition and performance and able to solve quality issue cause by machine.
  • Able to help in yield improvement by reducing downtime, quality issue and etc.
  • Proactively maintaining the safety and 5S of workplace.
  • Responsible for plant facility installation, maintenance and upgrading by dealing with vendor and contractors.
  • To ensure all chemicals and chemicals waste are properly store and label.
  • Undertake the handling and repair of all facilities utility’s equipment.
  • Responsible for performing routine semi-skilled work in the maintenance of multiple facility locations. Responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing tools, equipment, and products within the storage facilities, along with other tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain inventories in a clean, organized fashion.
  • Work begins Monday through Friday to prepare facilities for daily functions: turning off alarms, turning on lights, etc.
  • Maintain facility locations through janitorial duties, updates, regular building maintenance, and miscellaneous maintenance repairs.
  • We are looking for:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering.
  • Background and knowledge of general maintenance with mechanical aptitude, as well as some electronic/ electrical experience and understanding required.
  • Must be a great communicator within and between departments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations that may arise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to perform various physical duties such as using hands, reaching, standing, crouching, sitting, climbing; as well as regularly lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in rotating shift and supporting OT.
  • Ability to hear and see clearly required to maintain personal and facility safety.
  • Background with tape and reel machine will be advantageous.
