SUMMARY OF ROLE OBJECTIVE
LOVNS is a newly established subsidiary of CY Group, specializing in high-quality coffee through our business café.
The Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing strategies to promote LOVNS, enhance brand
visibility, attract new customers, and drive sales. This role requires a creative, results-driven individual with a
strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing techniques, particularly within the food and beverage
industry.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1] Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the café’s brand and business goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
2] Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including social media, email, and local events.
- Create and manage advertising budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies that maximize ROI.
3] Content Creation:
- Oversee the creation of engaging content for social media platforms, website, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and copywriters to produce high-quality marketing materials.
4] Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
- Monitor and manage the café’s online reputation, responding to reviews and feedback.
5] Customer Engagement:
- Develop and implement loyalty programs, promotions, and special events to attract and retain customers.
- Utilize customer feedback and data to refine marketing strategies and improve customer experience.
6] Partnerships and Networking:
- Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, influencers, and media to enhance brand exposure.
- Collaborate with other local businesses for cross-promotions and joint events.
7] Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to the management team.
8] Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the café’s management team to align marketing efforts with operational goals.
- Lead and mentor a small marketing team or coordinate with external agencies as needed.
ROLE REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the food and beverage or café industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media platforms, SEO, and email marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking with a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies.
- Proficient in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behaviour.
Working Conditions:
- This role required to be based in One Utama (retail outlet) & Bangsar (office).
- Working hour : Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
