  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specialist in airfreight import & export customs clearance, including handling CARNET shipments, temporary import/export shipments, exhibition shipments, and perishable shipments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customs authorities and government agencies to ensure smooth clearance processes and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Accurately classify goods using the Harmonized System (HS) codes to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation, including import/export declarations, permits, and invoices, ensuring all required paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement, including responding to customer and overseas agent inquiries via email.
  • Assist in negotiating and resolving any tariff or clearance disputes, ensuring a smooth flow of goods through customs.
  • Experience with air import & export procedures, handling the full process from shipment arrangement to delivery/pickup.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to continuously improve efficiency and streamline customs clearance processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in airfreight operations, with a focus on import/export and customs clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and HS codes.
  • Experience handling CARNET, temporary imports/exports, exhibitions, and perishable goods.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with customs authorities and government agencies.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in customs documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in responding to customer/agent inquiries via email.
  • Familiarity with customs software and documentation systems is a plus.
