MAIN DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible in the contract administration, including preparation of contract, project estimate and tender, monitoring and control of construction cost, negotiation with contractors and other relevant duties.
  • Establish management’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies
  • Preparation of budget for project including preparation of Bills of Quantities and Cost Plan.
  • To assist in the coordination with consultants on the preparation of tender document, tender drawings, specifications for calling of tender / tender exercise.
  • To assist in the shortlisting and evaluation of fee proposals / tender submitted by consultants / contractors.
  • To assist in the verification of contractors’ claims and recommendation of payment amount for management’s approval.
  • To assist in the verification and recommendation of payment for consultant and contractor’s claim.
  • To assist in the finalization of accounts for project contract.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveyor or Construction in any field
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
  • Experience in preparing cost estimating, BQ, tender will be advantage
  • Strong communication skill and critical thinking skills, with attention to details
  • Proficient in computer, Microsoft excel and Microsoft office
  • Confident, multi-tasking, goal oriented and independent
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and with diverse groups of people
  • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision at a tight-deadline and fast-paced environment
  • Minimum CGPA 3.5 and above will be advantage
