Manager, Inventory

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibilities for inventory related process and procedures.
  • To standardize inventory management related processes, including documentation of processes, adequate control in inventory related process, process change where needed and process alignment with stores.
  • Inventory variance – identify, monitor and investigate should there be any high inventory adjustment, i.e., stock adjustment, disposal shrinkage, stock loss, etc. Implement corrective improvement actions to mitigate high stock adjustment.
  • Monitor and ensure stock balance accuracy via timely and accurate stock receive from supplier and DC by store, stock return to supply and etc.
  • Ensure physical inventory controls - initiate and monitor cycle count process for store to ensure stock balance accuracy and stock ageing monitoring.
  • Lead and coordinate annual stock take. Engage third party count team and coordination with internal store staff to perform annual stock take, timely annual stock take variance adjustment and investigation.
  • Interacts and coordinate with DC Warehouse to monitor inventory balance accuracy and resolve matters related to stock transfer to stores.
  • Year end audit - to liaise with external auditor to timely closure of audit which related to inventory, i.e. annual stock take, stock reconciliation, etc. and close all audits points highlighted with deadlines ensuring compliance with auditor recommendations.
  • Monthly reporting on inventory related KPI, stock days on hand, shrinkage, disposal, cycle count and annual stock take variance and adjustment.
  • Perform other ad hoc inventory related tasks.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience preferably from retail, super/hypermarket background.
  • Computer Skills in MS Excel and Word are required.
  • Strong project management skills and strong analytical thinking.
  • Must be able to demonstrate discretion professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, employees, and stakeholders.

Manager, Logistic

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Able to manage logistic management – manage transportation & distribution network
  • Assist immediate superior to plan, organize and manage daily, weekly and monthly routine processes, assignment, duties and tasks at
    receiving, put away, storage, picking, sorting, allocate, checking, and loading departments.
  • Assist immediate superior on any daily, weekly, monthly or ad hoc requirements for presentation, meetings, assignment, task or special projects.
  • Assist immediate superior to develop the team’s human pool development, whilst providing a sound, safe & secure feeling at workplace.
  • Help to assure that Distribution Centre operational workflow stays in line with the expected productivity aspiration and achievable operational targets by reducing further operational cost/expense, inventory shrinkage/surpluses, overtime cost, MHE cost and repairs.

Requirements

  • A least 3 years as Assistant Manager, DC and previously worked in any fresh/ambient/dry/frozen environment from any warehousing/distribution/ retail businesses.
  • Computer Skills in MS Excel and Word are required.
  • Strong project management skills and strong analytical thinking.
