We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Spa Manager to oversee the operations of our luxurious spa facility. The Assistant Spa Manager will be assisting the Spa Manager in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, driving revenue growth, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a passion for wellness, and a keen business acumen.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the spa, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Develop and implement efficient operating procedures to optimize productivity and enhance guest satisfaction.

Staff Leadership and Development

  • Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and support personnel.
  • Manage therapist and consultants' work schedules.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure high levels of professionalism and service excellence.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth.

Guest Experience

  • Monitor guest feedback and respond promptly to address any concerns or suggestions.
  • Maintain high standards of service delivery and ensure that all guests receive personalized attention and care.
  • Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and promote repeat business through loyalty programs and special promotions.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Utilize digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and local partnerships to increase brand visibility and drive traffic to the spa.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation and strategic positioning.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in spa management or a similar role, with a track record of success in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in spa software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of wellness industry trends, products, and services.
  • Experience in set-up of new spa/wellness outlet is an advantage.
  • Certification in massage therapy or aesthetics (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Mandarin language is a must .
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
