Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects on time and within budget. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all project objectives are met and stakeholders are satisfied.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of IT projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans and schedules, and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project team members, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, and take corrective action as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Manage project budgets, expenses, and resources effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate them as needed.
  • Ensure that project documentation, including requirements, design documents, and change requests, is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status updates, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, and promote best practices in project management and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and PMBOK.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid technical background, with knowledge in programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Java, C++) and proficiency in SQL.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is a plus.
  • Experience in working with banks or financial institutions, if applicable, is preferred.
