Qualifications & experience

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • At least 3 years of working experience in tax, audit, or accounts
  • Able to handle a full set of accounts and all financial reporting activities independently
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, SQL
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication skills, both written and verbal

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Preparation of full set accounts (monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports). Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and yearly closing of account
  • Responsible for performing the day-to-day general ledger accounting, closing, and financial reporting and analysis on a timely and accurate basis
  • Prepare bank reconciliation and monthly schedule (eg: fixed assets listing, prepayment, accruals listing & etc)
  • Hands-on experience in handling taxation and statutory accounts; liaising with external auditors, tax agents, governments, and other professional bodies.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Prepare budget, cash flow projection and petty cash
  • To communicate with all levels for daily related tasks
  • Undertake any other tasks or ad-hoc assignments as and when assigned by the Management
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
